Sara Pope Photography offers baby milestone portraits in an Oakley, California portrait studio for families throughout Brentwood, Antioch, Discovery Bay, Walnut Creek, Danville, San Ramon, Pleasanton, Concord, and the East Bay.

Milestone sessions are designed to capture the beautiful in-between moments parents never want to forget — gummy smiles, tiny toes, sitting independently, belly laughs, shy expressions, missing teeth, and all the little personality changes that happen as your child grows.

Unlike themed sessions, milestone portraits are intentionally simple and timeless so the focus stays where it belongs: on your baby or child exactly as they are in this season of life.

Just bring your child and an outfit or two, or you’re welcome to use select pieces available for babies during their first year. Together we’ll coordinate colors and styling to create a clean, cohesive setup that photographs beautifully without feeling overly trendy or distracting.

While these sessions are especially popular for babies during their first year, they’re also perfect for older children and updated portraits throughout childhood.

milestone session Packages

All milestone session packages include the time and talent of the photographer, a relaxed studio experience, professionally edited high-resolution digital images, and full printing rights. You’ll receive a private, shareable online gallery with the ability to download your final images and order professional-quality prints directly from your gallery. Simple studio sets, age-appropriate props, and select wardrobe pieces for babies during their first year are available when they fit the vision for your session.

*50% non-refundable retainer is required to book with the balance being due at the session.

Deluxe

If you’re the type of parent who never wants to narrow down favorites, the Deluxe Package was designed with you in mind. These sessions allow time for a relaxed, child-led experience with added variety throughout your gallery, along with family portraits included during your session. Instead of choosing between moments, you’ll receive all of the edited images from your final gallery to preserve this season exactly as it is.
